13 orang dilaporkan tewas dalam serangan yang dilakukan oleh seorang pria bersenjata di Binghamton, New York. Pria itu juga menahan puluhan sandera di pusat perkumpulan warga.

“Selusin atau lebih diperkirakan tewas dua jam terakhir ini,” ujar redaktur berita Radio WNBF Bob Joseph kepada CNN, Sabtu (4/4/2009).

Reporter di lapangan menjelaskan ada 20 hingga 40 sandera yang ditahan oleh pria bersenjata itu di kota kecil yang terletak 217 km sebelah baratlaut Kota New York, dekat dengan perbatasan Pennsylvania ini.

Dilaporkan juga polisi bersenjata otomatis telah mengepung gedung tersebut.DETIKKOM
